Article Abstract:

An epidemiological study was conducted using primary care-based data in Netherlands to examine changes in the incidence of eating disorders in the 1990s compared to the 1980s. It was found that an increasing anorexia nervosa incidence among the high-risk group continued to the end of the past century but the bulimia nervosa incidence did not rise as expected.
