Blocked arteries

Article Abstract:

The future of the industrial and commercial property market in the towns of Redhill and Reigate, England, is closely linked to the councils' proposed parking standards, which are expected to result in a reduction of the existing parking ratio. Traffic problems in the towns have been steadily worsening and the new parking plan is aimed at reducing congestion. Local commercial property agents fear that new parking ratios will discourage take-up of new schemes. An overview of the commercial and industrial property market in Redhill and Reigate is presented.

A turn up for the books

Article Abstract:

Demand for commercial and office buildings is slowly increasing in Maidenhead, England, with a return of speculative office development. The proximity of the town to London and its position close to the M4 motorway are attracting pharmaceutical, electronic and computer firms. There has also been an expansion of associated support businesses seeking small, centre-of-town offices. An analysis of the commercial and industrial property markets in Maidenhead is presented.
