Bush to business: here's $400 million

Article Abstract:

Gov. Jeb Bush specifies that Florida's competitive position was enhanced after the reduction in the percentage of the employers contribution to the comprehensive workers insurance was confirmed. The state encourages the businesses that they would gain US $400 million from the restructuring process and is hopeful that these gains may increase as a result of the above modification process.

Heaven can wait, but Scripps can't

Article Abstract:

Palm Beach County commissioner's decision related to Scripps Research Institute's project on Mecca Farms and bond issuance in Florida are discussed. Warren Beatty, the influential actor/director/power broker is a board member of Scripps. Despite the fact that an environmental group has filed a lawsuit against the site, Scripps squeezed a decision out of the Palm Beach County commission.
