Can Norman conquer?

Article Abstract:

ASDA Chairman Archie Norman was elected as a Conservative Member of Parliament in the 1997 UK general election representing Tunbridge Wells, England. Norman has strong views concerning the inherent delays in the planning process which he experienced at first hand during an application to resite an old supermarket building. Norman has been involved in the acquisition of property through Gazeley Properties which is owned by the parent company. Norman has overseen a revival in fortunes of both ASDA and Gazeley Properties since joining the company in 1991.
