Article Abstract:

The shortage of industrial space in the towns of Bournemouth and Poole, together with a recession in manufacturing, means that developers are unwilling to begin working on new buildings. However, some sectors of the property market remain optimistic, with unemployment and closures causing the release of valuable sites back into the market. The main industrial development areas in Bournemouth are almost full, with the main focus for future developments being sites around Bournemouth International Airport.
