The property development market in Peterborough, England is experiencing strong growth. Peterborough Council has approved commercial, leisure and residential development plans valuing 100 million pounds sterling. Travelling into the town will be easier with Eurostar train services and an extended road system. Prime retail sites are demanding high rents of 130 pounds sterling per square foot. The less popular retail sites of Long Causeway and Rivergate Centre are being taken up gradually. Office space is in abundant supply.

Article Abstract:

Automotive parts and repair concern Kwik-Fit aims to open 50 new outlets each year, building on its existing network of 1,100 service points worldwide and 650 centres in the UK. With the assistance of real estate agent Donaldsons, it has identified 250 locations across the UK where it believes a branch would be appropriate. Donaldsons is now obtaining detailed information about these sites. The ideal Kwik-Fit site has around 3,500 sq ft of trading space, along with external parking for around 12 cars.
