An enterprise culture

Article Abstract:

The decline of industry in the North East of England is epitomized by the demise of the shipyards on Tyneside. However, it has been proposed that the area be designated an enterprise zone and new commercial buildings may be constructed on the sites. The government's English Partnerships is developing a 41 acre site in North Tyneside and is involved in other new developments in the area. An overview of the industrial property market in Tyne & Wear is presented.
