On a Grecian yearn

Article Abstract:

The classics remain a popular area for research despite the decrease in the numbers of schools teaching Latin and Greek. Students who wish to study the classics at degree level often voice their frustration at not being able to learn the Latin or Greek languages at school. Some universities require the students to start learning Greek language if they are taking a classical subject.
