Perchlorate: analytical detection issues to meet the needs of risk management

Article Abstract:

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) put perchlorate on the unregulated contaminant monitoring rule (UCMR) list in 1999. In 2000 USEPA propagated a laboratory endorsement and performance testing (PT) program that indicated the utilization of Method 314.0 (Determination of Perchlorate in Drinking Water Using Ion Chromatography). Vital technical concerns regarding perchlorate are examined.

Tax increment financing: learning from the Georgia experience

Article Abstract:

Tax increment financing could be a tool for self-financing for the states of United States, as they tend to reduce budget of general fund without any finance from state of federal governments. The development incentive of states has been explained with the help of the Georgia statute.
