The property market in the county of Gloucestershire, England, has not been badly affected by the DOE's recent decision not to allow RAM Euro Centre to build its planned 16 million pounds sterling Cotswold Outlet Village at Tewkesbury. This town is a very strong location for industrial and warehousing accommodation, and rental levels there are high. The town of Malvern is further away from the M5, but has the advantage of lower land prices. There is also considerable property activity in Worcester.

Luton, England suffers from a shortage of modern buildings which has led one company to move to Dunstable, a nearby town, when it decided to expand. Central Luton also has a shortage of parking spaces, though more space is available on the outskirts of Luton. The Arndale Centre is a thriving retail center within Luton, and there is strict controll of out-of-town retail outlets. The Arndale Centre is undergoing improvements to replace an air conditioning system.
