Thames Valley turnaround

Article Abstract:

There has been a rapid improvement in the office property market in the Thames Valley region of England over recent months. Indeed, occupiers are now competing fiercely for space and developers are fighting over remaining quality sites. There is currently no lack of greenbelt sites to meet rising demand, but there has been little substantial development so far. Agents and developers are becoming increasingly frustrated about the cautious approach which speculative funds are still adopting.

All hype but no speculation

Article Abstract:

The demand for office space in Uxbridge, England is increasing but the supply is limited although several new office developments are planned and some are already under construction. Agents who are more cautious about the improvement in the market see the rise in demand as temporary and further investment may be difficult to acquire. Since 1987 new shopping and leisure facilities have been designed but these are still at the planning stage.
