Article Abstract:

There are few opportunities for industrial property expansion in the county of Dorset, and companies which are planning to expand are having to look elsewhere. Most available space is in the 3,000-10,000 sq ft sector, with a lack of buildings offering 20,000 sq ft or more. Some developers are now starting to question the widely-held view that Bournemouth's Hurn airport site will meet demand.

Sites in waiting

Article Abstract:

The Dorset town of Bournemouth has a number of key office development sites which are ready to be taken by new occupiers. However, it is facing strong competition from other locations, and the market has remained weak so far. Developers are not prepared to build speculatively, and market trends remain distorted.
