German constitutional law cases 2004-2006

The legal issues involved in the decision of Germany's Federal Constitutional Court to overturn Section 14.3 of the Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG) in January 2005 which permit the shooting down of aircraft taken over by alleged terrorists are discussed.
