Quakers in Africa

Article Abstract:

'A History of the Quaker Movement in Africa' and 'Modern African Spirituality: The Independent Holy Spirit Churches in East Africa' are two recently published books written by the late Ane Marie Bak Rasmussen. The first books traces the history of Quaker missions in Kenya and how they brought the Gospel to east-central Africa. Rasmussen was a member of the Danish Lutheran Church and passed away in 1992. The books were published posthumously by her husband.
