Vietnam in 2006: Stronger global integration and resolve for better governance

Article Abstract:

Vietnam continued to grow economically in 2006 fueled by significant growth in exports and better global integration. Corruption was dealt with severely and the determination by the central and state leaders to improve governance was implemented by maintaining political stability with a one-party system.
