All quiet on the wilderness front
Article Abstract:
The Botswanan government has strictly controlled the expansion of safari holidays, and this means that visitors to Botswana who choose to go on safari can avoid the crowds often seen at popular safari locations in other African countries. Wilderness Safari, which has 15 camps in Botswana and employs 400 local people, pays a concession fee to the local community. Tourists can see a variety of local wildlife, including leopards, impala, hyenas, snakes and elephants.
