A good time for Clinton to get away from it all

Article Abstract:

The fact that US President Bill Clinton may face a sexual harassment case before he leaves office in 2001 has attracted extensive public attention in the US. He is clearly taking the accusations being made against him by Paula Jones, who was a junior state employee when he was governor of Arkansas, very seriously, having even gone as far as the Supreme Court to try to stop her bringing a case against him. Clinton has been suspected of adultery in the past, but this has not stopped him gaining the support of women voters.

Bill: just a husband in a jam?

Article Abstract:

There is a great deal of apparently conflicting information regarding the affair that is alleged to have taken place between President Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky. This information will be scrutinized as Linda Tripp, who secretly recorded Lewinsky talking about her relationship with Clinton, gives evidence to prosecutor Kenneth Starr. It appears that Lewinsky was infatuated with Clinton, but it also seems likely that Clinton is confident of his innocence, given that he has denied an affair three times.

The President meets his prosecutor

Article Abstract:

President Bill Clinton will spend some four hours answering questions on his relationship with Monica Lewinsky put by prosecutor, Kenneth Starr. Clinton has prayed with Rev Jesse Jackson who has stated that Clinton has been embarrassed by the Lewinsky case, and that Clinton's marriage will survive. Clinton continues to be popular in his role as president, although a majority of those polled believed that he has lied about a sexual relationship between himself and Monica Lewinsky.
