A rude awakening? Not with them

Article Abstract:

BBC Radio 4's 'Today' programme is the most influential radio programme in the UK, and James Naughtie and John Humphrys, two of the programme's four regular presenters, are very aware of the responsibility they bear when carrying out in-depth interviews with key public figures. They receive many letters encouraging them to ask searching questions, but realise that in some cases their job is not to score points over the interviewee or make him or her feel uncomfortable.
