Asthma is blowing in the wind

Article Abstract:

Climate change is beginning to increase the amount of pollen in the air in countries with a relatively cool climate, such as the UK, Finland and Norway. The number of people developing allergies to pollen is rising, and this is in turn increasing the incidence of hay fever and asthma. Experts believe that part of the reason for growing sensitivity to pollen could lie in a negative interaction between pollen and pollution.

Sand, sea, sex and, er, rain

Article Abstract:

Club 18-30 is most well known for its overseas holidays, which are advertised as offering sun, sand and sex for young people. However, Club 18-30 has also run holidays in the UK, where the reps had to be very creative in order to keep their clients happy when the weather has been poor. Clients were encouraged to drink heavily, and there were many competitive games and sports events.

Wind, sea and an awful lot of sand

Article Abstract:

Northern Denmark offers many attractions for visitors, including forests, abudant wildlife and wide beaches. Some of its resorts have been rather spoiled by tourism, but the more remote ones have retained their traditional way of life. The landscape can be beautiful, and there are a number of interesting monuments to visit.
