Bungs and bribes football can't kick

Article Abstract:

Corruption has always been present in football, but it has never been easy to ascertain just how widespread it is. Recent cases indicate that corruption could be rife, but there are still many people in the game who protest their complete innocence and resent the fact that football's image has been damaged. In many ways, corruption in football simply reflects corruption which is known to be present in politics and business.

What's in The Fridge?

Article Abstract:

American football player William Perry first came to public attention in the mid-1980s, when he earned the nickname 'The Refrigerator' because of the vast amounts of food he consumed. He was not an outstanding player, and was soon dropped by the Chicago Bears because he became far too heavy. However, he is now attempting to revive his career, and will be playing for the London Monarchs in the World League.

There have been no outstanding British tennis players in recent times. However, this situation is set to change with the arrival on the scene of Tim Henman, who recently won the Sydney International, his first major title.
