Channel hopping for beginners

Article Abstract:

Many different types of British people are now taking day trips to Calais, France. This can sometimes make the actual journey something of an ordeal. However, Calais itself is well worth visiting. There are many traditional bars and restaurants offering local seafood dishes at very reasonable prices, and there is a very relaxing atmosphere. Some of the British visitors behave inappropriately, and this is the only element which spoils the trip.

And the best of British to you, too

Article Abstract:

There has been considerable publicity over recent years aimed at encouraging people to 'Buy British.' However, it is often very difficult to actually find British-made goods in the shops. Many items, especially electrical equipment and clothing, are made in Asia, and even many foods come from abroad. Retailers report that there is in fact little demand for British-made goods.
