Beating domestic violence

Article Abstract:

Indeed, it is the most common reason for homelessness among women, and Home Office figures indicate that one in four women experience domestic violence in their lifetimes. Domestic violence is still not consistently regarded as a crime, mainly because the victims carry the responsibility for ensuring that it is seen as a crime. However, this situation is now beginning to change.
