Hello darlings, I'm back

Article Abstract:

Rupert Everett first came to pubic attention as an actor, but has also been a model and a pop star. Finding life as an actor not sufficiently fulfilling, he wrote a novel, 'Hello Darling Are You Working?,' and is working on turning it into a screenplay. He has now published a second novel, 'The Hairdressers of St Tropez,' which particularly analyses his views on the Aids crisis. He is now looking to develop his writing career further.

There are still stories to tell

Article Abstract:

Playwright Julia Pascal has had a high public profile for some time, having been unwilling to conform to conventions. She has attracted controversy most recently with a trilogy of her own plays dealing with the Holocaust. The first, 'Theresa,' dramatises the life of a Jewish woman betrayed to the Nazis in Guernsey. She has been greatly influenced by the Holocaust, and is determined to make her life mean something.

'He suggests that to be gay is not to be frivolous. He is pointing out that not all gay men like Judy Garland.' (theatre director Peter Gill revives John Osborne's 'A Patriot for Me')(Interview)

Article Abstract:

Theatre director Peter Gill first became associated with playwright John Osborne in the 1960s, and has worked on some Osborne plays in the past. He is now to revive 'A Patriot for Me,' and strongly defends the play against criticism that it is offensive and outdated. He believes that the special nature of the theatre will be able to transform Osborne's more unacceptable ideas.
