His course is set for a historic mission

Article Abstract:

Labour party leader Tony Blair has made it very clear that he does not intend to be the leader of the opposition for very long. Against this background, his political career would be in great doubt if the Labour party fails to win the next general election. The position of the Labour party as a whole would also be severely damaged, and it would possibly never again stand a reasonable chance of becoming the party of government. Blair has managed to transform the party and to reassure members that it has a very positive future.

Oklahoma: the hunted men

Article Abstract:

The car bomb attack on the Alfred Murrah federal government office building in Oklahoma City is now thought to have killed more than 100 people, and an extensive hunt is being launched for two white men who are believed to have been involved in the incident. It had been thought initially that there was a Middle Eastern connection, but authorities are now refusing to confirm this theory. Three Arab-American organisations have already condemned the bombing.
