I survived Fred and Rose West
Article Abstract:
Fred and Rose West, who were found to have sexually abused and murdered a considerable number of girls and women, were a strange couple, according to Caroline Roberts, their former nanny. She was raped by Fred West and sexually assaulted by Rose West, but did not go through with a rape charge. She now greatly regrets this, as she feels that she could have prevented others being abused and murdered. She has had a lot of counselling, and now knows that she cannot hold herself responsible for the murders.

Fred Davis
Article Abstract:
Snooker player Fred Davis showed considerable talent at an early age. However, for many years he remained in the shadow of his older brother Joe, and did not enter the world championship until 1937. He began to play as well as, and in some cases better than, his brother in the late 1940s, and was world champion eight times in nine years. His greatest achievement was getting to the last four in the world championship in 1978, at the age of 64.

Professor Sir Fred Hoyle
Article Abstract:
Astronomer Fred Hoyle was born in Bingley, England, in 1915. He studied Mathematics at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, England, and became a Fellow of St John's College, Cambridge, England, in 1939. He joined the Cambridge University Dept of Mathematics as an Assistant Lecturer in 1945.
