It's a very strange play but I think I like it now

Article Abstract:

A three-year exchange project uniting secondary schools from the UK, France and Germany has involved French, German and English teenagers performing Dylan Thomas's play 'Under Milk Wood' at Sheldon School in Chippenham, England. The teenagers have had to work extremely hard, rehearsing for only one week, but they have found this a very enjoyable experience. Teachers report that the students have become more self-confident and that they have benefited greatly from mixing with people from many different backgrounds.

The bewitching Ms Bisset

Article Abstract:

The best directors are those who make you feel safe and do not alter the script too much, according to actress Jacqueline Bisset. She expresses particular admiration for John Huston, who placed strong emphasis on clarity. She believes that she is managing the transition to playing older women quite well, and welcomes the fact that playing older women allows her to forget the need to be beautiful all the time. She is currently involved in many projects, and does not intend to devote more time to leisure activities.
