'Most criminals would have dumped the kid.'
Article Abstract:
Bruce Reynolds, one of the gang responsible for the Great Train Robbery in 1963, recalls that he experienced completely new feelings when his son Nick was born. He did not feel ashamed of his son seeing him in prison, and was honest with him about the consequences of crime. He feels that they are now best friends. Nick believes the fact that his father took him with him when he went on the run in Mexico, rather than merely abandoning him, was a measure of his love. He now feels that he has stopped running away from his father's past.

'We may be killers but we're not criminals.' (corporate crime)
Article Abstract:
It is now becoming clear that white-collar and corporate crime cause more injuries, deaths and pollution in the UK than ordinary crime. This makes it very hard to accept that many white-collar criminals do not believe that they have done anything really wrong. Ordinary people rarely regard corporate crime as being as serious as 'real' crime, even when it can lead to major injuries or even death. They also fail to realize that corporate dishonesty places a heavy burden on the economy.

Why stalkers are not all criminals
Article Abstract:
There are many unclear aspects about the law relating to stalkers. In many cases, they do not actually commit a crime at all, as they do not damage their victim's property or approach that person. A criminal case can only be brought if there has been assault, criminal damage or nuisance telephone calls. If this has not happened, then common law principles must be applied. These relate to securing the right of freedom of movement and choice of the individual.
