Noel Johnson

Article Abstract:

Actor Noel Johnson appeared in small roles on the radio and in weekly rep before enlisting in the Royal Army Service Corps during the second world war. He was invalided out of the Army, and was offered the Dick Barton role while playing a small part in a BBC serialization of Wilkie Collins's 'The Woman in White' in 1945. He subsequently took the role of Dan Dare for Radio Luxembourg, with this engagement running until 1956. He went on to play a very wide range of roles on radio.

It is important to ensure that as many people as possible have access to entertainment such as theatres, according to SFX Entertainment Inc Executive Chmn Bob Sillerman. He feels that he should focus on consolidating SFX's recent UK purchases, including Midland Concert Promotions and the Barry Clayman Corp, rather than making further acquisitions. He emphasizes that family life is his greatest priority.
