One little piggy went to auctiion

Article Abstract:

Wemyss pigs, popular as nursery decorations at the turn of the century are now fashionable again and making good prices at auctions. The pigs were produced at the Fife Pottery founded by Robert Heron in 1882 and have been especially popular in Scotland even after the demise of the firm. Prices have not been affected badly by the recession, and now after restructuring their Scottish branch, Christies are selling the pottery in London to appreciative buyers.

I posted pebbles to my friends

Article Abstract:

There are now many activists connected by the world art network, but most remain anonymous. Many participants are forward-thinking young graphic designers and artists, regarding network art as a means of spreading their anti-establishment views.

None of that fancy stuff

Article Abstract:

Simple, hand-made English country pottery was in great demand in the days when other materials were not available and pottery was treated as disposable. Many potteries have closed down during the 1990s as demand fell, and there has been very little interest in old pieces of pottery. However, this is now starting to change, and English country pottery looks set to enjoy a revival.
