Poor little rich boys

Article Abstract:

There are dangers to children in inheriting large sums of money, as is illustrated by the children of wealthy British aristocrats. The Marquess of Bristol, John Jermyn, died aged 44-years-old after an adult life spent as an addict following the inheritance of a large amount of money when he was 21-years-old. Jamie Blandford and Benjamin de Rothschild are other examples of inherited wealth affecting young people, though the latter later reformed his behavior. Wealthy parents may be kinder if they leave sums to charity rather than to their children.

Good gourd! Pumpkin is the new potato

Article Abstract:

Pumpkin is becoming an increasingly popular food in the UK. It is now served in many fashionable restaurants, and more people are also cooking with pumpkin at home. The warm weather in Aug and early Sep 1999 encouraged strong pumpkin growth, and the 1999 crop has been very large. There have been reports of pumpkins being stolen from fields, and some growers have even employed security guards to protect their crops. Pumpkin is very versatile, but can be bland. For this reason, it is best cooked with lemongrass or curry powder.

It claims that it has received a large number of complaints about Club Sirius, while Club Sirius rejects this, stating that the ABIA cannot accept its great success. The ABIA indicates that a number of serious complaints have been made about Club Sirius, including its use of premium rate telephone lines and poor security.
