Former bass guitarist and vocalist of the 60s jazz band Cream, Jack Bruce has formed a new trio in 1992 called The Jack Bruce Band. The new band includes session player Simon Phillips and American, Blues Sarceno. They have already toured Poland and Japan and will begin recording an album in Sep 1992. The band Cream lasted from 1966 to 1969 and included Eric Clapton and Bruce as lead. Bruce's hero is Bob Dylan.

Conservative MP Tim Yeo has managed to revive his political fortunes since revelations of extra-marital affairs made him the subject of extensive media attention in early 1994. He ensured that he regained the support of his constituents and his party, and managed to gradually work himself back into a prominent position from the back benches. He now seems fairly confident about his future ministerial prospects.

He has not suffered from the rise in popularity of alternative comedy, and still appears regularly on television.
