Serial killer with a conscience tells all

Article Abstract:

Wayne Ford has confessed to killing and mutilating four women and disposing of their body parts in rivers and ditches in California. It is almost unprecedented for a serial killer to confess and show remorse. He has cooperated closely with police, indicating to them where the body parts are located. He has also reached the point of despair, stating that he wishes to die and deserves the death penalty. He made his confession in order to avoid causing harm to his former wife and his son.

How Italy failed to trap its Monster

Article Abstract:

There have been eight double murders in the area around Florence, Italy, since 1968, but the authorities have still failed to bring the serial killer responsible for them to justice. The case brought against Pietro Pacciani, a farm labourer with a history of sexual violence, has recently collapsed following an appeal, and extensive police investigations have brought no positive results. The failure to find the real killer has reflected extremely badly on the police.
