Someone to watch over her...

Article Abstract:

There have been a number of portrayals in films, magazines and books and on television of vulnerable women who fall in love with somebody who is responsible for protecting them. This genre seems to be attractive because it offers a new context in which to explore intimacy. Some observers regard the genre as forming part of the dramatic tradition of the clever servant. There is an interesting conflict between public and private life, and considerable attention can also be given to the power relationship between the two main protagonists.

Watch out, Hugo and Camilla are about

Article Abstract:

Camcorders used to be seen as the preserve of rather eccentric people who were obsessed with collecting video souvenirs. However, they have now become a fashion accessory, and are used widely in even the most upper class circles. In many cases, professionals are hired to video events such as weddings and skiing holidays.
