US singer k d lang, 30, was about to record her latest album Ingenue when she found she had lost her sense of pitch. After massage and homeopathy it was found by her dentist that an infected root canal was causing the problem. Ingenue is pop music as opposed to her other three albums which are country and western. She spells her name in lower case because she has never mastered the use of capitals. Her previous album Absolute Torch And Twang sold extremely well and led to so much publicity she has never looked back.

Article Abstract:

Rhythm guitarist and slide player Ron Wood made his solo rock album 'Slide on This' in a converted cow shed at his County Kildare, Ireland home. He joined the Rolling Stones in 1974 after belonging to The Faces who played with Rod Stewart. He plays snooker and pool a lot. He has months when he does not play the guitar but when he is with Keith Richards they communicate by playing. He does not particularly like jamming but has done a fair amount of it.

They have already designed clothes for a number of famous people, and have become associated with particular styles. They now plan to open an outlet in New York in 1996. They have risen to fame very quickly, which they believe is the result of their unconventional approach.
