The thrill of the Chase

Article Abstract:

Real estate agent Savills has attracted controversy with its plans to construct large, upmarket homes at Cranborne Chase in Dorset, England, a historic site where roebuck and fallow deer still breed. This scheme would raise 1.2 million pounds sterling for improvements to the Rushmore estate, which owns the unproductive woodland of the Chase. Savills believes that this scheme would prevent the estate being broken up, leading to much more property development.
