Workers in the financial services industry in London, England, are increasingly going to churches near their work. This is part of a wider trend of spiritual issues being given more importance at work. Counselling and emotional intelligence have become important in the work place. Omni Solutions is a company that offers t'ai chi for employees, and this helps them to become more productive through boosting morale and wellbeing. Many issues tackled in team building are important in spirituality courses.

First woman priest at St Paul's suffered hate-mail and abuse

Article Abstract:

Rev Lucy Winkett, the first woman priest at St Paul's Cathedral in London, England, claims to have been the victim of rejection, hate-mail and abuse. Some male canons have refused to have anything to do with her, and antagonists have boycotted her Eucharist services. She finds constant rejection difficult to handle, but she remains determined to fulfill her calling and to work with her opponents in a positive atmosphere.

Professor Ninian Smart

Article Abstract:

Religious scholar Roderick Ninian Smart was born in Cambridge, England, in 1927. He studied Classics and Philosophy at Queen's College, Oxford, England, and taught at the University College of Wales and at Yale before becoming founding Professor of Religious Studies at Lancaster University in 1967.
