Mr Saturday Night

Article Abstract:

Writer Nik Cohn regards his other books and his journalism as more important than 'Another Saturday Night,' the book on which the film 'Saturday Night Fever' was based. He regarded this book as merely a minor work, and did not research it directly. For this reason, he was surprised that it was so successful. He is currently working on 'Yes, We Have No...,' a profile of modern life in the UK based on his columns of the same name in the Guardian newspaper.
