So long Hollywood, hello Home Counties

Article Abstract:

There is a growing number of US film stars seeking to buy property in the UK. These include Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Sylvester Stallone and Madonna. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman are already renting a very large house in Hertfordshire, and have brought a large number of employees over from the US with them. Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are said to be impressed by the relatively crime-free environment in the UK, and would probably become involved in local activities if they were to settle in the UK.

Article Abstract:

There are indications that the Aga cooker is becoming increasingly popular in the US. It is closely associated with a traditional British lifestyle, and has caught the imagination of people who seek a particular image. Furthermore, efforts are also being made to bring Agas into the modern world, and they are being promoted as an upmarket consumer durable. Some Americans even come specially to the UK for workshops instructing them on how to use their Aga to maximum benefit.
