Components under coat

Article Abstract:

An innovative process in coating metal components of agricultural equipment using cathodic epoxy electrocoat is presented. The components are painted by immersing the negatively-charged metal in a solution containing positively-charged paint particles. This process evenly covers the components including areas not reached by conventional painting methods. The process not only costs less, it also discharges less than two pounds of volatile organic compound per gallon, a quantity well below the industry standard of 3.5 pounds per gallon.

Noncanonical Wnt signaling and neural polarity

Article Abstract:

The differences between the canonical and noncanonical pathways and the role of the noncanonical Wnt pathways in different aspects of cellular polarity in the developing neural development are described. The analysis has shown that noncanonical Wnt signaling plays a vital role in the generation of cellular polarity in a number of different aspects of neural development including neurulation and neural tube closure, neuronal migration and the generation of planar cell polarity.

What your genes reveal about you

Article Abstract:

It is wrong to claim that environmental factors, such as where a person lives, have much more influence on that person's personality and health than genetic factors do. Genes are in fact significant causal agents, linking with other genes and with environmental agents to determine an individual's abilities. However, genes alone cannot determine qualities such as intelligence. Other factors, such as diet and education, also have a key role to play.
