A strategic technology management model under different technology acquisition modes between developing countries: the case of telecommunications in Korea and China

Article Abstract:

A strategic technology management model has been developed for analyzing the different factors that influence technology transfer between developing countries. The model is capable of evaluating both the technical and market factors, including the effectiveness of the technology acquisition and the existing market demand. It has been used in evaluating the level of success of technology transfer between China and Korea.

Comparison of e-commerce in India and Mexico: An example of technology diffusion in developing nations

Article Abstract:

An analysis of the rapid growth of e-commerce industry and its connections with similar associated industries like software, and telecommunication is presented on the basis of the economic status prevailing in Mexico and India. The comparison is based on the present trends, and the hurdles foreseen are discussed as observed in developing countries.
