Queensland tropical fish ecology

Article Abstract:

The project aims to explore the effectiveness of riparian in improving stream by comparing the ecology of fishes found in streams that are uncleared, cleared, and restored. Dr. Frederieke Kroon and his project team collect data on fish habitat, water quality, plant and invertebrate samples, and the distribution and abundance of diverse fish species.

Climate change in the rainforest

Article Abstract:

The project aims to understand species patterns to predict the impact of climate change on biodiversity. Dr. Stephen Williams and his research team are measuring the distribution and abundance of plants and animals and establishing long-term monitoring sites to assess the impact of climate change.
