Three recent studies have identified Beta-catenin as a cause of colon cancer that in concert with other agents. Beta-catenin's interaction with adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) and DNA binding proteins of the T cell factor-lymphoid enhancer factor (Tcf-Lef) family are described.
