Biodiversity thrives where crops fail

Article Abstract:

Soils which are conducive for cultivation are not suitable for plants however biodiversity thrives where soil fertility is low. This is the reason for poor economic development of tropical countries, where plants grow in abundance and agriculture yield is poor. However, the preservation of mammals and large predatory birds will be a problem as they need productive areas to survive which are also essential for the survival of human beings. International consensus on trading and exploiting earth's natural resources is important to protect biodiversity.

Biodiversity's future: species to systems

Article Abstract:

Protection of biodiversity involves safeguarding species and the ecosystems. Preservation of the biodiversity is essential as it helps to protect the health of human beings and provides them with the resources for their survival. Earth's ecosystem may also suffer because of the loss of biodiversity. Measures such as instituting 'biosphere reserves' will help save biodiversity, however environmental policies should not affect the lives of the local population.

Changes in habitat threaten biodiversity

Article Abstract:

The government should create and protect conservation areas or public lands to grow and reproduce and to avoid the negative impact of global warming and climatic destabilization on biodiversity. The government should also evolve an ecosystem program, improve planning at regional level, create awareness about biodiversity and reduce population explosion in areas associated with wildlife to stop decline in biodiversity.
