Building code changes reflect World Trade Center investigation

Article Abstract:

The International Code Council published a 2007 supplement to the International Building Code (IBC) reflecting recommendations made by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) derived from its three-year investigation of the collapse of the World Trade Center (TWC) towers. Details on the building code changes based on the recommendations are presented.
