Catchy culverts

Article Abstract:

Engineering consultancy firm Woolpert LLP installed box culverts around Norman Ditch in Franklin County, OH, to prevent the occurrence of severe flooding in the area. Several problems faced the project during the course of the installation. These include flooding, complexities due to the presence of utility lines and mistakes in road construction after the installation of the culverts. However, the project was a success as there are no reports yet of street or underpass flooding since the flood control project was completed.
