Here beginneth the first lesson...

Article Abstract:

Oxford University scientists Richard Dawkins and Peter Atkins continually propound the view that experiment and observation are the only routes to truth and that only science can provide explanations. The two are extremely hostile towards theology, with Dawkins attributing a theologian's religious beliefs to a virus or a deep psychological insecurity, and Atkins to a lack of oxygen in the brain. Scientists should not dismiss theology and the humanities in general, but unite with religious believers to try to gain a better understanding of human beings.
