Efficiency in the bag

Article Abstract:

The National Park Service has constructed an off-season filtration system to provide an adequate source of potable water to the population of northern California especially during winters. Drinking water has been a problem in Lassen Volcanic National Park for many years due to its short supply. To accommodate demands from the increasing number of visitors, the wintertime water treatment plant was constructed. In addition to supplying potable water, it also maintained the park's natural resources in compliance with the Surface Water Treatment Rule.
