Matrons of honor

Old ladies of yesteryear had a unmistakable style that seems to be lost: handkerchiefs not tissues, no-waists, just belts, grey hair in buns and a certain attitudes that brought instant respect. Today's old ladies, thanks to modern science, now seem to freeze at age 40 and something is missing.

Faux fullerenes

Article Abstract:

A nested cage of tungsten disulfide is a new carbonless molecular cage that is expected to have photoconductive and quantum effects. Passible applications for the new faux fullerene are discussed.
