Article Abstract:

UK manufacturers are encouraged to use medium term financing to fund anticipated asset investments. The investment trend is prevalent in parts of Midlands and South West. Reports say that 70% of firms in these areas are heading for investments through various channels. Banks are expected to cooperate, but it is difficult to ascertain whether private financers will accept industrial equipment as security for their loans.

Presented is a futuristic look at the US if welfare were abolished in 1995 and the states received block grants from the federal government. Conditions that skyrocketed included the number of homeless families, abortions, joblessness, prostitution, and domestic violence, as states failed in their mission.
