Innovation and learning in the knowledge-based economy: Challenges for the firm

Article Abstract:

Knowledge is known to be power with the early 1990s seeing a surge in the quest for knowledge, where the companies as well as the nations are striving hard to acquire knowledge in all fields. Companies are always trying innovative methods to increase their knowledge base, be it with training seminars or by calling on expert to educate their employees, as faster all companies adapt, with changing times, the better it would be for their growth.

Article Abstract:

Knowledge is crucial for the growth of a firm, as it is important for companies to keep developing and renewing their strategic knowledge-based resources to achieve their short and long-term goals. Research shows that companies that pay attention to details are bound to succeed because better human resource management techniques, if used innovatively, can definitely help them nurture their knowledge base and create an atmosphere for growth.

Towards an integrative model of business, knowledge and organizational learning processes

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to design a model for the analysis of the relationship between business processes and their knowledge processes that are required for organizational development and achievement of business targets. Four Spanish companies in different sectors like automobile, financial, electricity and technology sectors were studied and a theoretical model is suggested.
